Too many people get a cheap little kite to learn on and figure they’ll upgrade if they have fun. Problem is, most entry level kites are small and cheaply made, so they’re downright frustrating to fly and much too easy to break— not exactly a recipe for success. If you’re stubborn or just lucky enough to get up and flying, chances are you’ll pick up the basics in an hour or two and be shopping for a ‘real’ kite all too soon, because most beginner kites are just too squirrelly and unstable to do more than steer back and forth in the sky.
Our ultimate choice for new pilots, the Quantum’s impressive 7-foot wingspan is big enough for serious pull and excitement and stable enough to make learning a snap. Wide wind range, adjustable bridle, and practically indestructible carbon frame make it the kite you can learn with now but never outgrow. Innovative shock absorber in the tail and Kevlar-reinforced nose forgive your unplanned landings, and once you‘ve mastered the basics just switch the bridle to the radical setting for stronger pull, tighter turns, and a sporty control response. Built with the same precision and attention to detail as our top-end competition kites, the Quantum has hooked more people on kites than any other design in our lineup.
Compact, take-it-anywhere package includes Spectra lines, winder, flight straps and travel case with easy instructions printed right on the back
what a great kite, very responsive and easy to handle (even the missus could do it haha), i can't wait for tomorrow, it's got plenty of power, it pulled me forward a few times. Very tough as it has had a few crashes already and not a mark on it.

I have just flown this kite and am still reeling from the excitement. Very easy but rewarding to fly with plenty of power and manouverability. The Quantum kept me on edge but i was still able to have heaps of fun with starting to learn the tricks. I look forward to really putting this kite through its paces as i progress in skill level, because i feel this kite still has plenty to offer.
