Where to start. I have had my Libre Dragster for quite some time now, and i feel i can write a review on it now having gotten used to it and really put it through its paces.
The Dragster i got from briskites is the extra large, and i wanted the longer rear axle, it is Stainless Steel, and came with Eurotrax Bigfoots with grooves add by Libre.
So my Dragster is fully optioned, to the hilt. First thing i have to say is that the service offered by Briskites was just fantastic, Jason and Luke were more than happy to accommodate my every wish and desire, although i must have driven them up the wall at times. The buggy was on special order due to the size, and i expected to wait around three months for delivery, as with most other special build buggies, but i was taken by surprise when the courier knocked on my door some six weeks later, about half the time i expected. The boxes were huge, one box had the buggy in it, the other had the wheels and tyres. Assembly was quite easy, and i had the buggy fully assembled in my lounge room within half an hour, i did not think it would be so hard to get it out the door, and it was.
The build quality is fantastic, as you would expect from Libre, the amount of adjustment allows for people of quite different sizes to use it with out complicated adjustments. So far i have not come accross anything that i would call a negative on this buggy, everything is just right. it is huge, it is heavy, it is strong, and it is fast. The buggy has put up with everything i have put it through and having now done in excess of 3000 km in this buggy i am still thrilled with it each and every time i fly in it.
The price of these types of buggies keeps them a little out of the reach of begginers, but there is no reason why you could not learn starting at the top with some real quality under your butt. The seat is deep and oh so comfortable, it has a 'pocket' that gives access to add panels to stiffen the seat back and bottom to your requirements, the seat is infinitely adjustable to suit anyone. I have had some larger guys sit in it who have had trouble getting into the seat of other buggies due to the restricted width of the inferior opposition buggies available.
The best commercially available race buggy in Australia. Try one for your self, if you can, you will love it just as much as i do.
